C: Now you’re making my whole point for me. First you argue that the pope as “one man” predominates. Now, you’re catching on as to the true nature of Catholic authority: pope and Councils, pope and Tradition, pope and the sensus fidelium (“sense of the faithful”), as analogous to Peter and the other disciples, Peter and other bishops or Apostles (such as James and Paul), and Peter and the Jerusalem Council, etc. P: None of us regards Luther as infallible, so your argument is irrelevant.
